MONTESSORI SCHOOLING

Children learn best when they are involved and excited about their learning. Montessori system of education includes student-centered curriculum and activities tailored based on student's needs, interests and abilities.

Classrooms are stationed with child-friendly hands-on materials. The Well-structured classrooms provide opportunities for learning in a more personalized way and to learn at their own pace. Handling the materials allows the child to understand the core ideas of each concept, so that they can explore and master a concept.

Education is an encouragement – Montessori trained faculties of our school spend their days in encouraging and acknowledging the efforts of the little ones into every single thing they do. This helps to set the foundation for children, not just for the kindergarten, but for a lifetime.

PRIMARY EDUCATION

Learning can be described as any experience that contributes to the child’s development.

The Primary School builds on the skills that children acquire in Pre-primary years. The Primary School curriculum progresses from skills to experiential learning to building knowledge. Emphasis is laid on ‘learning by doing’ rather than on rote-learning.

It is designed to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or her life.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle school - A school at a level between the Elementary and the High school

Children learn by observing, listening, exploring, experimenting and asking questions.

This period of learning is seen as a vital stage for developing their independence, grit, curiosity, personality traits and study habits that help them to make decisions about their future goals. Experiential learning within each subject and explorations of relations among different subjects, is encouraged and emphasized.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

Sunshine Sri Sarada envisions the all-round development of students in consonance with the holistic approach to education and therefore, emphasizes integration of co-curricular domain with curricular domain in an equitable manner. The main goal at this level is fostering core competencies in learners.

The curriculum envisages individualized learning acumen and seeks to explore the potential of students in acquiring substantial acknowledgement and skills through academic rigors. With greater academic orientation and research skills in core academic areas, students would evolve as judicious young adults with a sense of real self-estimate having true values and principles.
