“Schools are the Nurseries of the Nation and teachers are the Architects of the Future”. These words are not just figurative expressions but truthful statements that has been meticulously practiced in Sunshine Sri Sarada Secondary School.

The school was founded by Mrs. Vasanthalakshmi Rao in the year 1976. Her motto and passion was to impart quality education to all children irrespective of whatever social status they belonged to. Her unflinching, undaunted hard work with zeal, built the school with dedication.

In her vision, education should be the truest nourishment of the body and mind, that would lead the child acquire the fountain of knowledge. The school has followed the idea of allowing the child to grow in an atmosphere of free thinking and assimilating wisdom without hustle or harassment.

The school was handed over to Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial Trust in the year 1996. Mr. K. Santhanam, the Managing Trustee.

Now, it is managed by Rays Educational Trust. The Director, Mrs. Senthamarai, is a versatile personality, who gives more importance to the individual care of each student’s development. Mrs.Ezhilarasi, our Correspondent – leaves no stone unturned for the betterment in the infrastructure as well as the general development of the school.
